Ray Winesburg
Skilled Welder Instructor

Dan Olson
Skilled Welding Instructor

The son of a pipefitter, it was only natural that Dan would follow in his father’s footsteps. He joined ETI in 2015, where he enjoys sharing his experience with students.

Alan Turner
Welding Instructor

A 30-year veteran of the industry, Alan ran two fabrication shops, supervising up to 25 employees before joining ETI. His favorite thing about teaching is building relationships with students. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his dog.

Kevin Pflanz
Director of Education

Kevin joined the industry in 1984 because he recognized the opportunity HVAC offered to make a good living. His experience includes working on O’Hare Airport and Brookfield School. He joined ETI in 2006 and nothing makes him happier than hearing from students who have gone on to successful HVAC careers.

Virgil Toepfer
HVAC/R Instructor

As a senior in high school, Virgil listened to a pitch from a trade school recruiter and decided HVAC was the career for him. 28 years later, the journeyman sheet metal worker is sharing his knowledge with students at ETI. He enjoys the energy and positive attitude of his students as they look toward their own futures.
