Financial Aid

ETI's Financial Aid Department is available to advise, administer and service the student throughout his or her training.

Financial Aid Programs

Because ETI is accredited by a nationally recognized accrediting agency, federal grants and loans are available to students that apply and qualify. Among the financial assistance programs are:
  • Federal Pell Grant Program
  • Federal Direct Stafford Loans (Subsidized and Unsubsidized)
  • Federal Direct Plus Loan (Parent loans)
  • Sallie Mae Career Training Loan
  • ETI Financial Assistance

Federal Pell Grants

A Federal Pell Grant is an award that does not have to be repaid. Funds are awarded to students with "exceptional financial need".

Subsidized Federal Direct Stafford Loan

A Subsidized Federal Direct Stafford Loan is a low interest loan made by the government to students. The Federal government pays the interest during school attendance, for a six month grace period following school attendance, and during any periods of deferment. Eligibility for a Subsidized Stafford Loan is based on "financial need".

Unsubsidized Federal Direct Stafford Loan

An Unsubsidized Federal Direct Stafford Loan is a low interest loan made by the government to students. Students do not have to demonstrate "need" in order to obtain this loan.

Federal Direct Plus Loan

A Federal Direct PLUS Loan is a low interest loan made by the government to the parents of a "dependent" student. The loan application is subject to lender credit approval.
