Career Services

Environmental Technical Institute maintains an efficient career services office to assist a graduate in obtaining employment. As with any school, college or university, the Institute cannot promise or guarantee employment. However, upon graduation, each student receives the complete assistance of the career services office and is entitled to take refresher courses at no additional cost, provided the student’s account balance is paid in full.

The career services office is a dedicated department that helps students and graduates find suitable employment in a number of ways:

Conducts Career Development sessions designed to help students with interviewing skills, resume preparation and professional image.
Interviews students to determine their individual employment needs and desires.
Surveys employers for hiring opportunities.
Maintains and expands contacts with key industry personnel to further enhance the institute's position as a reliable source of trained employees.

Every reasonable effort is made to assist students requesting full-time employment, in obtaining the types of career positions for which they are qualified and in geographical areas that they prefer. However, it is sometimes necessary for students to relocate to obtain the most desirable jobs.

Students requesting full-time employment, must authorize ETI to make available their records of grades, attendance and instructor evaluations. Upon procuring employment, students must inform the placement office of company name, starting salary, date of employment and position. Get more information!
